Newton Take back medication day on October 26

The Newton Police along with Newton Health and Human Services and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration are announcing that there will be a Medication Take Back Day on Saturday October 26, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 This event will be held behind the Newton Police Department, (Support Services Bureau), which is located at 1321 Washington Street, West Newton.

 This can be done anonymously and includes all prescription and over the counter solid dosage medications, i.e., tablets and capsules.

 PLEASE DO NOT BRING IN intravenous solutions, Injectble drugs or needles, illegal drugs-such as marijuana or methamphetamines and weapons.

 Please note that this is for household disposal only-No businesses are allowed!
