Hammond Pond Floating Walkway Update

DCR has filed an Appeal of the Newton Conservation Committee’s Denial of the Rudyak Family Floating Walkway.  The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be reviewing the Appeal and will have representatives at Hammond Pond later this month do a site visit to review the DCR/Rudyak’s Plan and it’s environmental impact.  The CHA will keep you updated as to any developments in this regard.
