    June 6 – June 8 – Runner’s World Heartbreak Hill Half Marathon and Festival will be held at the Boston College campus, with music, kids’ races, and 5K and 10K races on Saturday, June 7 and a half marathon on Sunday. More details and registration on the runner’s world website.

    Neighbors: please note according to the Newton Chief of Police,  There have been 4 burglary related incidents in Brookline.  The burglaries occur during the daytime.  Rear doors and windows have been targeted.  Please do not leave your home unlocked & easy for intruders to enter.

    On Saturday, April 5th, 2014 starting at 9am, the annual Houghton Garden clean-up begins. Bring gloves and whatever saws and pruners one may have.
