On Saturday, October 25th, 2014 starting at 9am, there will be a Houghton Garden clean-up.
Bring gloves and garden tools.
Cider, doughnuts, and good camaraderie are provided free of charge.

The Newton Conservators will host a walk in the Webster Conservation Area in Chestnut Hill on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00 pm. The walk will explore the parklands on the north side of the tracks, including the former “deer park” and a rock outcrop offering distant views. The walk will begin at Hammond Pond and will consider DCR’s imminent construction of a floating walkway. Meet at the DCR parking lot behind The Street – Chestnut Hill, off Route 9. Bring gloves and whatever saws and pruners one may have.
Lunch and good camaraderie are provided free of charge.
