Boston College Stokes Hall receives Bulfinch Award for architecture

Boston College’s newly constructed “Stokes Hall” has been recognized by the Institute of Classical  Architecture and Art as a recipient of a 2013 Bulfinch Award. This award is named for Charles Bulfinch, America’s first native-born architect, and designer of the Massachusetts State House. The award recognizes the best work of individuals and teams who contribute to the creation of classical and traditional architecture in New England.  A presentation of the award will be held at the Massachusetts State House on November 14th.
