On Thursday July 26, Newton’s conservation commision will consider the changes proposed at Hammond Pond by the DCR and Rudyak Foundation. The public meeting will be held at 7:30 in City Hall Room 209. The discussion will focus on the “proposal to convert existing trail to impervious surface and construct a 10,000 sq ft boardwalk in the pond” and will be a continuation of discussion from last May.
