The DCR will be holding a meeting concerning proposed enhancements to public access at Hammond Pond next week. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Newton City Hall – War Memorial Auditorium 1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton. At the public meeting, DCR will: Provide an update on plans for Hammond Pond access enhancements and efforts to increase pond health; review project schedule; and obtain public comments.
