The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation will hold a Public Meeting on Proposed Enhancements to Hammond Pond at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 21st at Newton City Hall. At the meeting the DCR will present results of their feasibility study, proposals for addressing ecological improvements to Hammond pond, present the conceptual design for enhanced public access, review project schedule, and receive additional public comments.
