Road Work Signs on Commonwealth Ave.

While it might seem as if the Road Work signs  on Commonwealth Avenue have been up for months with no signs of continued work, sources tell the CHA that signage must remain up because the project is not complete.  The project will not be complete until 46 more streetlights are moved to the Boston College side of Commonwealth Avenue. This part of the project has been held up as the Mass DOT, City of Newton and ENSTAR work out details of the access.  They hope to complete all parts of the project by summer. Upon completion of the project, the Newton DPW plans to review road signs in the area.
